From the Ice Age to the present day, 20,000 years of history come to life in a grandiose scenography. A captivating epic in which the simple gestures of ordinary life rub shoulders with feats of war. Le Souffle de la Terre recounts the destiny of a people who have been invaded, oppressed and bruised time and again, but who have tirelessly resisted, rebuilt, harvested and raised the spires of their cathedrals higher.
From the opening minutes to the final bouquet, from one era to the next, emotion is always present: the magic of the staging, 3,500 costumed characters, 40 riders, the play of light and shadow, the enchantment of words and music.
Costumes, sets, special effects, fireworks, a symphony of water and light: the scenes are punctuated by surprises, each more spectacular than the last. The mill wheel is the wheel of time, and the miller tells the story of his Picardy. He begins with his own century, the twentieth, then looks back to the first men who populated his land.
